Mission Statement

St. Paul Baptist Church is a church established by Freewill Baptist Church in 1984 as a result of an evangelistic work of Freewill Baptist Church located on Somalia Drive, Monrovia, Liberia.  From 1984 to present, there have been few key pastors assigned there to propagate the gospel to the people of St. Paul Bridge, Lower Virginia.  This community has 15,000 people to be reached with the Gospel.

In 1992, December 31st, Pastor Wallah S. Wilsatoe was assigned there to preach the Gospel to the people as well.  With the Lord giving the increment, the Freewill Baptist Church decided to declare St. Paul Baptist Church an Independent Baptist Church.  From that time, to present, under the leadership of Pastor Wallah Wilsatoe and the unforgettable effort of the congregation, the church is still in operation and has a ministry philosophy to reach and win the lost at all cost.  The church reserved the right to fellowship with whom we want to fellowship, and presently the church is in fellowship with Life Assistance Mission Program (LAMP) Ministries based in the US.

The church has a Christian School, to the memory of Sarah Barclay, the mother of the late Anna E. Cooper then dean of the University of Liberia.  Not only that, but also is involved in the following: discipleship, evangelism, and pastoral training in collaboration with Patriot Bible University based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
